Personally, I find it even more amusing, how, instead of shutting up and pretending like they never got conned, they go on a Watchdog show and tell everyone how they was stupid enough to be tricked by someone.

maybe a bit of both in most cases, people trying to make a quick buck, but there is no such thing! For those that claim they had no idea this could have gone badly, more money than sense!
