1. If a movie can ruin your whole day, then it can also make it good. Watch a happy Christmas movie, like It's a Wonderful Life, or something.
2. Music is very powerful. Listen to cheery Christmas songs.
3. Get together with family and friends

You can watch It's a Wonderful Life, that'll probably cheer you up. Or any other good comedy really. Maybe Love Actually.
I've watched The Shining too and I hate it. I forgot about it as soon as it finished. Try to forget about it as well.

Sit on a 'rabbit' and if it tries to escape, plug it into the mains supply for at least half an hour.
If that doesn't put a mile on your face, it'll take your mind off things for at least a wee while - specially if you allow unsolicited witnesses:))
Enjoy!!!

Have you heard the expression "It's just a movie"? Well, write it 100 times on your notebook.
