You can watch It's a Wonderful Life, that'll probably cheer you up. Or any other good comedy really. Maybe Love Actually.

I've watched The Shining too and I hate it. I forgot about it as soon as it finished. Try to forget about it as well.

what is this movie the shining? is it a horror movie? can someone tell me about it?
anyway if u want to cheer up watch home alone 1 and 2....although it is old and for kids but at least it will make u feel you are 10 yrs old again and feel safe..

You need to watch My Big Fat Greek Wedding, or Meet The Fockers, Meet The Parents, American Pie, American Pie 2....all those movies will definitely cheer you up!

If that doesn't put a mile on your face, it'll take your mind off things for at least a wee while - specially if you allow unsolicited witnesses:))
