sony walkman nw-a3000....software problems with Connect?

Whenever I go into sony Connect as soon as i plug in the walkman to the laptop, after a few seconds a message appears saying something along the lines of cannot read memory at x29000 something or other and that the programme has to close. Any clues why?????

I am aware that there are numerous amount of bugs with the software for the Sony Walkman which they have been trying to iron out using updated software. Try downloading Sonic stage from Sony website and see if that helps.
