depends on your mp3 player, i have a creative zen, but i've heard it works with ipods as well.
if you have windows media player, then after downloading music on limewire, go to wmp>tools>search for new media>check the box that says only new files (fast) and then all songs will appear in all media category. then go to sync and on the right hand in the scroll box, if your mp3 is hooked up , then you choose that one and sync all your tunes. i do it all the time.

Somewhere on Limewire this is an option that allows you to select where the music that you download is saved on your computer. To make it easy I always put it in the "My Music" folder. The same goes for your MP3 Player. You have the option to pick where your mp3 player recognizes and grabs music from. You could choose the "My Music" folder as well so that everytime you download something new it is put onto your Mp3 player when you connect it to the computer.
Honestly, for striclty music purposes i prefer using Soulseek over Limewire. You can't get movies. It's strictly music but it is faster and has a better selection.
