PVA glue is generally available at all stationary stores and hardware stores, leading super marts also stock them.

PVA glue just means a suspension of polyvinyl acetate (PVA) resin in water ("vinyl acrylic" glue, similar to acrylic paint) but better known as "white glue"

There are various types and grades of "white glue," but even the simplest cheapest one (Elmer's GlueAll... but you generally won't want Elmer's *Washable School* Glue) is available in most places.
Some brands may also be stronger or more water-resistant after drying than others.

Those who do bookbinding and other crafts often refer to these only as "PVA glue," and the ones they use may be higher quality, etc., but still the same thing.

(carpenters' "wood" glue is a white glue too, even though it's colored yellow... other white glues include "tacky" glues, all? "fabric glues," Sobo, etc.)

Warm (not hot) water with a clean cloth or tea towel. Work it in slowly. If it has dried and will not come off with the water you could try putting a damp tea towel over the mark and gently ironing over the cloth on a low heat to melt it and pick it away with your fingers.
