Yep they gotta go i understand your concern i would feel the same, but they do chew everything and could start a fire chewing the wiring? I would bloke up the hole where their getting in if they have young maybe you could rescue them and leave them where the parents will find them?

It is really nice to hear from a person who will not kill the squirrels in their attic. After all, they will only chew on your wiring, urinate and defecate on the floor (the ceiling of the floor below), run around at all times of the day or night, propagate, and raise several large families, start sneaking down into the main living areas, and eventually lower the value of your home. Nice to contemplate.

They will kill thenselves when they find the wiring and start chewing. You will probably have electrical problems, as well.
Call an exterminator and then have any open places screened over in the attic.

I would be concerned with damage to wiring and the loss of heat due to the opening in your attic that is allowing the squirrels to enter.
I suggest you remove them quickly.

Pretty much a tree rat... they will chew and do anything a rat would do, simple as that. Plus I would not be happy thinking of the little buggers up in my attic playin with their nuts, that alone is disturbing.
Get rid of em'

Yes they will make problems. They can destroy the electrical wiring and they can chew on the wood in the house and they also will have to take care of there body movements peeing and such ( they have to do it somewhere. ( I wouldn't want them doing inside my home)

Get rid of them! They will chew up anything and everything!
They can also chew electrical wires if there are any up there!

they will chew on wires and could short out the electrical system and burn down your house call some one and have them removed
