will the guy that graduate still have that job on Wall street waiting for him? Will the two younger ones go back to school like nothing ever happened? OR, did this stripper ruin their lives forever? She has already held them back a year. When she finally admits she was lying should she be sent to jail for double the amount of time she has wasted of these young men's lives?

Studbolt - Wouldn't the "Christian" thing to do here be to forgive the boys for their mistake? You never went to college and boozed it up at a party where there was a stripper?

I hope their life goes on as planned, I think it will.I think people will feel sorry that Democrat Mike Nifong simply used these boys for political gain. However, his Dem supporters will still support him, as they always do.HE'S the one who should be thrown out of town and have to work at a Mcdonalds for the rest of his life..

Regardless of if these students live moral lives or not, they are victims of the DA and his relentless attack on their civil liberties. This scumbag is the worst type of prosecutor, one who will try to prosecute and win at all costs, destroying lives along the way. It's clear the ***** was lying, the prosecution's case is flimsy at best, and now Nifong might just be investigated by the DOJ for prosecuter misconduct and unlawful prosecution. Hopefully he will end up in prison with some of the others he has prosecuted in the past. Something is seriously wrong with the legal system in America these days. Nifong needs to be made an example of just so that other corrupt prosecuters realize that they can't hide behind their government immunity. NO ONE IS IMMUNE FROM THE LAW!

Ones life has curve balls thrown at them. It would be great if one could sue the prosecutor for damaging so many lives. The prosecutor did it for election votes - he is definitely a criminal. The girl victim (?) needs mental help. The boys will probably bounce back and may even benefit as some compensation through society awaits them. Perhaps the boys are not totally innocent - the deed of hiring a stripper doesn't sound like great redeeming entertainment.

Duke did no longer something incorrect. for this reason they have been presented with probably information that some thing wrongful became carried out and that they acted to guard their community and image...as for permitting protests...they could be sued for no longer permitting such gatherings. we can in line with threat never be attentive to who's the villian right here...if the boys somewhat did it...if the sufferer lied....or if the sufferer became pushed via Nifong to win an election.

The accuser was wrong to do what she did but there are a lot of sanctimonious, self-righteous people who have yet to offer any apology for this disgrace. Like the DA. Not to mention the "community groups" who demanded action when there was no evidence.
I strongly suspect that something went on that night that shouldn't have. However, all the DA has is a discredited witness. I do not see how he can proceed. So they are going to get off scot-free, rather than being held to account for what they did do. Justice has not been served for anyone in this case (including the accuser). It has certainly not been served for Reade Seligmann, who seems to have a cast-iron alibi.
Sadly, life will never be the same for any of them, including the accuser. Mr Evans will not get his job. I am sure that has already gone to someone else.
We can only wait and see if the State Bar will take action against the DA.

Lesson to young people... when you put yourself in a potentially compromising position, don't be surprised at the end results. Certainly what happened to the players was unfair, but life is that way sometimes...

You might be right, but haven't you ever heard the saying:
"You are the company you keep."
They were all playing with fire that night and things definitely spiraled out of control.
