Because weed is natural and cigarettes have added chemicals....and if you are allowed to smoke cigarettes, then why can't you smoke weed? I mean, duh? It's funny because merk makes these medicines with side effects like,
causes blood clots, or heart palpitations, or heart attack.....etc.
When is the last time you heard weed causing heart attacks, stroke blood clots....etc.

So they can get high without all of the destructive side effects of cigarette smoking.
Plus, marijuana isn't usually smoked in public places like cigarettes are, so there is little risk of second-hand smoke to non-smokers.
So actually such intentions aren't contradictory as they seem to be, but the one condition that should be followed if marijuana is legalized is that only small amounts could be bought at a time, to minimize side affects and mind-alteration.

Liberals do no longer prefer to prohibit cigarettes, yet they like to prohibit public smoking, it relatively is a reliable element. I easily have performed huge examine on the consequences of secondhand smoke on little ones, and have chanced on that their interest spans go through. Cotine (A breakdown of Nicotine interior the physique) remains latest in a newborn's equipment 2 weeks after being uncovered to secondhand smoke. An grownup can walk faraway from secondhand smoke, yet a newborn won't be able to. Marijuana should not be criminal, because of the fact the government won't be able to administration revenues; make earnings off of taxing it (that's a weeds that grows easily almost everywhere); or placed age limits on it.

Marijuana doesn't have any additives, it is only psychologically addicting to people with no self control and because there has never ever been any evidence that smoking cannabis causes cancer of any kind. Besides, you can use pot without smoking it, either in a vaporizer or as an additive in food/drink.
Neither should be banned in a free society.

I think they want to legalize pot and are using the example of banning cigarettes to get people to see their point of view. For instance, if you smoke cigarettes and feel it is your right to do so, then they would counter by saying the same is true with pot. You would then have agreed with them in principle without being specific about it.

Cigarettes have a lot of chemicals in them. Marijuana is somewhat healthier but if they are rolled up in paper it has a lot of the same chemicals that cigarettes have. Mostly carcinogens.

Hypocrisy - smoking tobacco is becoming unfashionable while grass is a rebellion against authority. Neither should be band, but public assistance to either group for health or social benefits that are required because of these habits should not be given
