I went there 2 years ago and i was just looking at them. And they were so skinny. And the guy gave the horse some kind of i guess hay pellets and i was just going to ask him if i could touch the horse and he dropped the bucket of food on the ground so the horse couldn't eat any more. I felt so bad for it.
You should call the A.S.P.C.A. They will help.
But the sad thing is, then these people will just get new horses and treat them the same way. So I don't know if anyone can fix that.

the A.S.P.C.A will come out there directly and like someone above, there might be a horse clinic or something like that. and if a horse is limping it needed vet care asap. the ASPCA has already said something to them and it was on TV.

Wow, that is sad. SOME carriage drivers do not care about the horse but a lot do. I think that the driver was greedy and selfish to treat his horse like that. Animals are ppl too! They deserve to be treated right!!!!

aspca and there has to be some sort of horse rescue group in New York...it is just too big of a place for there not to be. and you could start a campaign for the owners to be kinder to their charges. call it to the attention of a few large animal vets, they have more clout than you may think.

Call Central Parks animal control. This is what they are suppose to be doing. If you have no success, call Central Park's police department.
