Embarrassment, frustration, no longer being on top of my game... feeling that I am doing more harm than good.

There are alot of things that I just don't put up with, but betrayal is probably the only one that I just cannot forgive.
However, remember: When you walk away from something, you're also walking TOWARD something else at the same time.
I'm sorry you're sad, I'm feeling the same way, but helping you with this answer gave me the answer to the same problem (if that makes any sense).
Cheer up, today's almost over, and as long as tomorrow is the tiniest bit better, it's a step in the right direction, and you are not alone.

if back stabbed or 2 faced by friends not much can make me walk away from family especially my children there is nothing they could evre say or do that would make me walk away 4ever now I have walked away from them upset but they knew I was still there and always will be. But backstabbing 2 faced so called friends one time for me is enough as if you do it once you will do it again. If my husband ever put his hands on me I would leave him 4ever as much as I love him I would but he loves and in 28 years it only happened once and I slapped him he slapped me back and that was it. can't say i didn't have it coming but he still paid for the slap back for a long time:)

Winning the lottery, or coming into a large sum of money all at once, would make me walk away from my job. I would be at ease with not having to be a slave to the system.
I would enjoy the freedom, the power, and the peace of mind.
All of us human slaves in America dream of this.

finding out that the love of my life .. my soulmate .. my first TRUE love i ever knew .. who I was about the get engaged to .. and marry .. who i adored so much i would do anything for ..
CHEATED on me with 1) my friend & 2) my worst enemy
its been 7yrs since i ended it and im still not over it..
but I walked away ...
as much heartache as i endured i walked away ... BUT ...
