when a boat has two motors the props rotate in opposite directions to counteract the torque.
when there are three motors which way does the middle propeller rotate?

It doesn't matter on the center, but usually standard right hand turn.

The PT boats had 3 props where the 2 outside spun in one direction and the center the other way,

They are usually setup with the port and center spinning clockwise, and the starboard turning counterclockwise. In addition, and actually more importantly for triples, the center motor usually has a longer shaft legnth, i.e., port and starbord would be 25" shaft, center would be a 30" shaft.

they are all geared the same. they all turn the same way. the prop goes right.. no left.....that is why the boat wants to pull right most of the time
