Cuddles=Spooning, hugging, usually lying down
Saved just illuminated the reason this question is necessary. No, sex means sex. To most of us (open and honest and not talking in riddles) cuddling means cuddling.

"Cuddles" usually refers to what some people like doing after making love. Some people prefer to lightly kiss and others prefer to just snuggle up with each other or cuddle. Me? I love cuddling.

Depends on the person. Cuddles to me means hugs. Or snuggling together (hugging together)..
My husband thinks it means more than that though...
