I did once - it just slipped out. I felt so bad! Luckily, it was not during a "sensitive" moment.

Woot! No, what I did was even stranger; five years after we were married, I signed a credit card slip with my old name. Have no idea where it came from, never happened before or again. Didn't even notice it till I was home recording it in the book. Husband said he noticed at the time but didn't say anything. The bank let it go through - but I was panicked, it was at one of our favorite restaurants and I didn't want them to think we were trying to stiff them! All the waitstaff knew us personally... man I felt stupid!

I have a boyfriend who keeps calling me "dawn"----his ex from 10 years ago(he hasn't even seen or talked to her since then and there were two other girls after her. ) he does this about once a month for the last two years. he claims he doesn't know why. he says she wasn't even his favorite ex.
