bring it to her but she said she'd pick it up. I told her my new BF would be coming over in the evening after work, perhaps the 2 of them could meet for the 1st time, chat for a couple hours and then we'd all leave. Me and the BF would go out together and then she'd be off on her own for the evening. She said "Call me back and let me know your BF's schedule. I don't wanna have to rush right in to get the turkey and then have to rush out 'cuz your BF's coming over."

I said OK, but was I wrong to do so? I wasn't planning on rushing her. We'd spend a couple hours together, which is reasonable, I think. Is she asking too much when she's getting a favor? Or am I overthinking it?

Maybe your friend didn't understand she was being invited to hang out with you and your BF. Or, maybe she felt like she would be uncomfortable hanging with you and the BF because she doesn't have a BF. You could ask her about her thoughts and feelings and then you would know what's going on in her heart and head. She doesn't necessarily sound ungrateful for the turkey, maybe just uncomfortable with hanging out with you and the new BF.
