Not necessarily evil (although I'd put Dick Cheney in that category). Republicans are cowardly and paranoid, and when they feel that way they want to go to War-- against a weak nation and with someone else doing the fighting, of course.

They're also stupid. Most of the soldiers dying vote Republican.

Not all Republicans enjoy it. Some are simply ignorant. Others (unfortuantely, the majority now that the neo-cons have hijacked the party) are cowardly, miserable, little creatures that feel insignificant and powerless and seek to bolster their self-image through vicarious association with those they see as able to exert real power. That the lives and futures of truly brave men and women is squandered in the process is of little interest to them. They are really no different from the losers who romp around in reproductions of Nazi uniforms or Klan robes, believing that others will perceive them as menacing. However, put them into a situation that requires real guts and real sacrifice and you can be assured they will be the first to crumble into a quivering, urine-soaked heap.

I'm against the war as well. However, to call this purely Republican is not just misinformed, it's wrong.

The United State Senate and House both voted in favor of this war, and those votes included Democrats and Republicans alike.

If you are against the war, why don't you do something to stop it. Join the rest of us out making a difference as opposed to posting slanted questions to try and make a political point.

a million. In an insurgency, belligerent civilians are warring parties. Their reconnaissance workers, related to armed gadgets and working under journalistic conceal, are warring parties. Unmarked vehicles attempting to accomplish ambulance operations may be incorrectly pointed out as warring parties ... their fault for no longer portray a pink crescent or diamond on their motor vehicle. There are conventions for ameliorating civilian suffering for the period of conflict ... it somewhat is in basic terms that the Iraqi and distant places terrorists do no longer choose for to stick to them. 2. people enjoying their pastime? marvel, horror! All infantrymen could be emo all of the time, continuously regretting all people of their strikes and laboring under existential angst, quoting Wilfred Owen and, i do no longer understand, Linkin Park at one yet another. we could continuously particularly in no way take any satisfaction in a nicely-completed operation.

You unAmerican pacifist talking jerk. I am glad you were not around for World War Two. The millions that died for a similar cause. If you do not have the stomach to stand up against terrorism, what would be your solution? Should we send Osama a thank you card for blowing up the towers? Oh wait, I am sure you are one of those people that think George Bush did it. Go figure.

So I take it you want to accept Al Queda's offer? If we left, where are all the terorist and insurgent going to go? Think they will just stay put? Where could we send our troops anywhere in the world that they wouldn't be followed? I don't enjoy our troops dying. I understand as they do, while deaths are tragic, they also save lives! American lives!

We don't. Morons like you think that if we support war then we like war. No, we choose war over a more disastrous scenario: lunatics with WMDs, i.e. Saddam (yes he had WMDs and WMD programs) and Ahmadinejad, etc.

Do you like having a dentist drill your teeth? No, you choose it because the alternative scenario is worse: painful, rotting teeth.
