I'd be a little hurt, untill I thought back to all the times I mentioned how much I hate my body because I need to lose weight, then I'd realize he got me something that he felt would make me happier.

A big hug to you! I would be hurt I think if I hadn't specifically asked him to help me lose weight. I think he probably meant well though. If you're really hurt, maybe you could talk to him about it and explain why you feel hurt. Hopefully, he was just being clueless and didn't realize how it might come off. Merry Christmas, sweetie! I hope it gets better!

I would be hurt and insulted. He may mean well, but geez he's crossed the line with this particular gift choice. Couldn't he have purchased a gift certificate so that you could enjoy a day at a spa instead?
He needs a sensitivity training course which I would suggest you buy as his birthday present.
Sending you a virtual hug.

Ok, if you moan and groan all the time (like I do) about being a few pounds overweight and complain that you feel fat, but don't have the time to go to the gym, etc....then he is actually doing you a favor, a very considerate one at that. Stop feeling sorry for yourself and get healthy.

I would...
But I'd also think that he did it for the bestt- so I could get my body back on track. I mean, if your husband can't encourage you to get onto a diet..who can?
=]..don't take it too seriously...just think of it as a kind gesture

Well he should have talked to you first and maybe put both of you on it, even if he didnt need it it would be the nice thing to say, like hey we both need to drop a few pounds, instead of saying "hey your fat! You need to lose weight!" You know..... but dont be sad.... my wife just said she would be happy if I got ther that, cuz she wants to lose a few pounds.

I would be more than hurt I would be pissed off.
I would go to the sex shop and get him a penis extender or one of those things that keep it up longer.
That is mean spirited and hurt full. You don't get someone that.
Rock on my hip filled friend.
Merry Christmas.

Hey call it lucky! Mine buys me Medifast all the time. Do you know how BAD that stuff tastes? The only redeeming factor is, it works.
