Clerks who put coins on top of bills when they make change. How do you deal with them?

Just tell the person to please give you the change separately so you have a few seconds to get it together in your wallet or what not. Yeah I've noticed that before, too, but never say anything. :-) I'm more annoyed by bad attitudes and poor customer service. I'll just walk off while they're ringing the stuff up, and leave them there screaming, Sir!, Sir!, Sir! As long as the theft alarm doesn't go off as I'm walking out the door no one bothers me. :-)

Basically you have two choices. Positive spin or negative spin. That is it. You have already figured out how to do the negative spin. Let me give you a positive way of looking at things. Your reward after the encounter with the stupid, rude, nasty, crazy customer is that you are you. The other person's punishment is they are stuck being them. Put another way, would you rather be you or would you rather be the person who is royally pissing you off? I hope you said you. There are only two people in the exchanges you are talking about; you and the annoying person. Well, you are, each time, getting to be the person you prefer to be: YOU! So what are you complaining about?

Maybe they're just not aware that it could be annoying to some people. When I read your question, I couldn't find what was wrong. I guess you should say so, if you don't like it that way.
