My package is currently at COMMERCE CITY,
CO, US since 12/21/2006 12:30 A.M. with this message ;ADVERSE WEATHER CONDITIONS CAUSED THIS DELAY due to the snow storm that hit Denver. I shipped it by ground and it's destination is LaVeta Colorado. Do you think it will arrive by Christmas? And is UPS ground moving yet in Colorado?

This isn't going to help... but remember, Christmas is a season! (not just a day) and if the gift reciever can not understand delays caused by weather... well... they have bigger issues than a late package. IF it is for a child, call them and tell them what is happening.

Relax and dont worry....
The reason for the season is not the gifts.

From what heard, the weather is supposed to be clearing. I think UPS realizes the importance of Christmas packages arriving on time and knows their *** and reputation is on the line if they don't. I think you will get it. Don't worry too much! (But it would not hurt to email them with concern, just so they get more reinforcments of mail pushing them to get on the ball and don't screw up people's holidays. PS....at least your package is in the right state)

Get it yet? My next day air package that left on the 20th still has not shown up, and I doubt it ever will. 1800PICKUPS is useless, and they can't do anything to help you figure out where the package is. All my future shipments will be with FedEX. They seem to want to get packages delivered, and were getting packages out on the 24th and the 25th. Rant over.

If an earthquake became sufficiently enormous get a tsunami to get 2 thousand miles inland from the Atlantic or over the Rockies from the Pacific, you are going to have way worse issues than basically a tsunami.

Nope, and nope.
UPS does not want to pay the extra union salaries for weekend & Holidays, when weather has nullified all guarentees anyway.
