Most men are more scared of getting the wrong present than none at all! Do you find fault in things he does?

Wrong for being upset? I do not think anyone is wrong when they are upset or hurt. I would be hurt. Gifts represent that you're being thought of, and something we normally wouldn't buy for ourselves. I think women do put more importance on gifts. To me it isn't how much the gift cost but how much thought was behind it. Some of my best Christmas gifts are home made gifts. I would be most hurt by he didn't know what to get you. That is me though. I hope your Christmas is a happy one.

I can understand that you would feel upset. That sounds like insensitive behavior. I would feel sad and forgotten if my husband chose not to get me anything for Christmas. Have you told him how important it is to you that you receive a gift for Christmas? Maybe he just needs a few ideas (books you like to read, stuff for your hobbies, a new scarf and gloves...?). It's not too late. Even if you don't get anything for Christmas day, maybe you could tell him you still want him to surprise you with a few things. Give him your wish list and see what he comes back with! : ) I hope he's willing to do something nice to show he cares. Just let him know what that looks like...

Go out and get yourself something nice....really nice!!!
What would happen if you didn't get your husband something??? Say if you told him..."I didn't know what you wanted" would that go over well??....no!! That's a bad excuse for him not to go and and get something for you....
So some the other answers are right....don't be upset...men do have a hard time with it all...however that shouldn't be an excuse for them not to shop for something...
Go treat yourself....and Merry Christmas!!!!!

Sounds like the honeymoon is over. Yes, you have a right to be upset. However, it isn't Christmas yet. He still has time. before you claim he didn't get you anything for Christmas, wait until Christmas is past and make sure he isn't just jerking your string before you cry wolf.

No, you're not wrong for being upset.
There's still time, hand him a list with the name of the open store, and send him out. Explain that some stores even having gift wrapping available, but if not, he can buy one of those cute little bags and put the present in there.
He's a jerk.

When you ask him about that issue, he should explain the consequence. If never explain, he is in trouble. so don't yourself and make him upset as well.
Every year there is christmas, But you can't get every christmas one husband. So try not put the blame on both side. that will help you family life.

No, your not wrong to be upset but this could really work to your advantage. He feels bad for having not bought you anything so now you can kinda ask for anything. LOL.

Yes, he could at least have gotten you a gift card, which would have shown some effort onhis part. He should have told youhe was going to get you nothing, so you could have gotten him nothing.
