If it isn't, you are one of very few. It happens to all of us. Don't clear the memory.....learn from it.....and move on. You are not with him anymore for a reason. The one you were meant to be with is waiting for you RIGHT NOW.

You have to realize that you are more important in your life than he is. You need to take care of yourself and let that memory (which is a destructive one) go. Immerse yourself in fun, enlightening, important, educational things and spend your valuable time with your family and friends. Do volunteer work for people who are less fortunate than you and really do have reason to be hurting.
This will not be the last time in your life that you are hurt by a lost love. Each time it happens you learn from it and become a much stronger person emotionally. You also become a little more compassionate to others that are feeling pain.

If you dated him for a long time it might be hard to move on. After he was there for everything you probably got used to it. You must have liked him a lot and you can't just drop the feelings fast. It is like when a loved one passes away, you can't just get up and move on, it takes a little bit of time to realize that it is time to move on.

You probably still love him and it will be hard to get over him. Try being with friends and meeting new people. Find some thing to keep your mind occupied and hopefully you'll be too busy to think about him.
