CD Wow, hmv, virgin megastores, amazon. For rarer ones that you can't find in the shops anymore I go on eBay as they are usually really cheap!
I am a fully paid up member of Napster. Personally hate not been able to add them to my CD collection, they're always in a crappy little jewel case and nothing like the originals with the artwork!
I don't truly believe the age of the CD is over for good though!

Amazon.com is an excellent place to buy CD's. I've bought several used ones for $1 and they were perfect.
And they give you several choices where to buy the same CD and all the prices are given. You can buy new or used and the prices are right in front of you.
They have a good return policy and the selection can be better than the stores.

I get them from all over the place. Chart discs tend to be cheaper in supermarkets. I get classical from HMV or Britannia. Obscure stuff and imports I tend to get from Amazon. I like shopping around. After Christmas I wil be visiting the HMV and Virgin sales. HMV still do a really good sale and beat most hands down.
Happy Christmas

I buy most of my Cds from Coconuts, Best Buy, or Target. It used to be Tower Records but now they are closing the locations close to me. Coconuts has a large variety and they also tend to have a lot of sales on used Cds.

I never seem to like more than 2 songs from each artist, so instead of buying a CD with songs I don't want, I just download them.

In the UK, I find cd-wow the cheapest. Most current CDs about a tenner, with free delivery. Play.com is also good
