Seeing beauty...those glimpses of glory, life the way it was meant to be. And I'm blessed because beauty shows up in so many ways:
laughing children, older couples walking hand in hand, art, music, golden sunsets, the funny antics of kittens at play, the taste of crisp juicy apples, newborn babies with knit caps on their tiny heads, people helping those who cannot help themselves, big bear hugs, tender kisses, lovers.........see? the list is endless. Joy to the world. Joy to me and you. There is so very much to fill the heart with joy.

My two girls, and how wonderful a mother my wife has turned out to be for both of them.
Don't get me wrong, I loved my wife before our kids (she's hot too, so that helps :) ), but seeing how she is with the kids warms my heart in ways I never thought possible.
Sorry for beign sappy, but it's true all year and I can get away with saying it during the holiday season!

Children, and to see the world through their eyes, as if it were new. through them, you can see a butterfly for the first time, smell a flower for the first time, and wonder at the clouds......
that, and a sailboat race and a couple heinekens

Seeing someone who thought they could not do something only to try and be able to do it with nobodies help.The expression on a child's face when experiencing something new great and beautiful for the first time.
