No it hasn't. What we have now is a so-called Labour party which has moved slightly to the right of centre, and a Conservative party that has apparently moved to the left.

There should always be alternatives in politics, and when the two main parties have moved together in this way, it means that the alternatives for the voters tend to be at the extremes, which is not a good situation.

I trust people till they lie to me then I trust them no more!

Labour lied to us about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq as a preface to attacking that country and removing Saddam. As a result, as far as I'm concerned, they cannot be believed on anything else and are, as a result, a lame duck administration.

How different it all was back in 1997 when we kicked out those appalling Conservatives with all their sleaze and nastiness. Remember how they lied to us as well? Force feeding their children beef burgers and telling us there was no such thing as mad cow disease.

However, now we can see that New Labour is just a 'Conservative Tribute Band' and as such is just as sleazy and dishonest. Maybe its time to give the Lib Dems a chance. They probably won't be any better but they certainly could not be any worse!!

This is the most corrupt, warmongering, nepotistic, thieving, dishonest, useless, anti-english administration in our history.

The people in power deserve to be shot, and I cant believe that the ordinary people havent been rioting in the streets.

Country people did march in the streets, until they were brutally assaulted by the police.

As long as drink is cheap & the tv stays on, the useless chav majority population of this country will remain passive - dear lord what have we become!!!!!!!!!!

It isn't really New Labour is it? Same old Labour with different faces.......high taxation, high borrowing, fail in all their policies, fail education, fail NHS, then when the preverbial hits the fan, they run away and it takes ten years to recover. AND we pay all over again!!!

Being Christmas, it's only right that the jokes are as funny as those you get in the crackers.
I am reminded of the phrase, 'about as funny as cancer'.
