There are some really great books in the library, or you could just Google it and see what you get. It might be a good idea for you to do your own homework, because otherwise you realy won't learn as much.
MRI's expose their patients to a high magnetic field, and there are no ill effects. I don't know about other types of magnetic fields, though.
