Ah, the power of deterrence.
Remember what we all thought - Vienna for breakfast, Berlin for lunch and Paris for dinner.
Then, there was an earthquake somewhere in the southern Soviet Union, and it took them about a fortnight to transport a few tents down there. Yes, I think they flattered to decieve.

Good Question. But either I don't understand it all, or you believe in some kind of conspiracy.
The Soviet Union was a very real Super Power, UNTIL it tried to compete with the US.
Because of Socialism, the people were poor and were like slaves. They stood in line for hours at a time just to get a loaf of bread. Most did not have indoor bathrooms.
The only people that lived good were high-ups in the Communist Party.
The Soviets could not compete with our Capitalist System; and when they tried, they went belly up.
(As you can tell on Yahoo, many liberals believe that Socialism & Communism can be successful if it is carried out like they want to do it. They get their beliefs from reading Marx and other Communist books.)

a million. on the commencing up of wwii the soviet union had a non-aggression %. with germany, yet this got here to an end on june 22 1941 whilst the german military invaded the soviet union. because of the fact the U. S. itself did no longer enter the conflict till pearl harbour (december an analogous twelve months) that's authentic that the U. S. and the soviet union have been allies. 2.trick question. america never 'joined' the united international locations because of the fact it replaced right into a founder member. 3. confident, japan surrendered after the bombing of hiroshima and nagasaki, and almost easily because of the fact of it. 4. stupid question. roosevelt inaugurated new deal regulations in 1933 and persisted with interventionist deficit budgeting till 1938. the great melancholy and its aftermath in all probability began previous due in 1927 and a restoration replaced into needless to say seen by utilising 1935. in keeping with possibility the restoration could have surpassed off even without the recent deal. in keeping with possibility there are weapons of mass destruction nonetheless waiting to be latest in iraq. 5. the soviet delegation forgot to show up on the un on june twenty seventh 1950, and that they have got been no longer able to veto this determination.

Yes, the USA still is controlled from somewhere outside of it. Russia was no threat at all. Actually, USA and Russia were close friends during the "cold war".
Aliens are the only answer. We're just pawns in their greater plan. Load up on the tinfoil, I say!

The Soviet Union was a very real threat as a superpower. Communism failed to keep the U.S.S.R. in a stable position against the Capitalist system. Believe me, it was never a false superpower.
