Indian politicians are the scum on face of earth. Their contribution can more appropriately be stated as a hinderance to the development of the nation and its potential.

However, when it comes to claiming their right on performance on some area, they are always on the horse back to snatch that. Its high time, things change.

First of all, put all the convicts behind the bar and then talk of issues of the nation. The biggest source of all political and economic woes are these politicians themselves.

As MP's they definately have the right to discuss any issue under the sun. This is democracy.
You are right that the MP's have more important issues to discuss. The reason they prefer discussing cricket is because this will grab the attention of the Media and the MP's will get cheap and free publicity. The media is not interested in getting bytes regarding mass suicides, poverty etc as these are boring subjects and hence their TRP/ ABC ratings do not jump, so they prefer subjects/issues which will improve their ratings. The MP's are the other side of the same coin and are only too happy to oblige.

Hi Saurav S, so you want to know if our Indian parliamentarians have the right to discuss poor Indian performance in cricket in business hour. Frankly, it is
we who vote them and bring them in the Parliament and
give them right to discuss such matters in
business hour. In fact, there are several other topmost
important issues, like suicides by farmers, poverty, security, and many more, which are much more important
than the ones, which they actually take care and that is
why, in short, we call it political gimmicks. When one will
understand political games, one will not vote in favor of
such parliamentarians to give them right to discuss poor
cricket performance and other such matters in business hour. Take care. Yong Kang

It was utter nonsense for m.Ps to raise the issue of poor performance of Indian Cricket Team. It was only because M.Ps do not want waste any opportunity that comes in their way to criticise the ruling party. Indian cricket team had performed badly in the past also when no M.Ps took up the issue. Now because Sharad Pawar is the president of BCCI they took up the iossue as he happens to be Union Minister as well. I feel pity on them.
