Well I must say the best way for me to learn and get better in English is by listening to music and songs.
It helps...i wasn't very good in English my self but i just follow MTV,
just listening and try to understand. Try to sing to your fav songs.
just follow the lyrics and just get the grammar and spelling.

A decade ago to learn English, you had to attend costly English classes or purchase course material like tapes and books. Now you can learn English for free from the comfort of your home using the Internet. The BBC and the British Council offer a number of on line courses, which teach written and spoken English. You can also improve your English by watching television programs and reading English newspapers. For more information, visit http://tinyurl.com/qnzpt

Completely surround yourself in English. Go to an English speaking country and live with English speaking people. Take classes on the side so that you understand the grammar. English is not that hard compared to other languages so it can be done.

Well, I think that learning a foreign language can't be achieved so very quickly. It needs time to practice. So, I believe that as much as you practice this language the faster you learn.
It all depends on you.

Try speaking to yourselves in english. Whatever thought comes to your mind, try translating it to english. Rehearse in front of mirror and among your close confidants.
Also try reading news papers and english novels. Keep practicing and you can be quite well off. Off course there is no short cut.
