I don't think you can really compare the two. They are each perfectly adapted to their particular niches.

it depends on what way you look at it whilst dogs are very loyal and depend on their owners for food cats would rather give you a scratch on the arm and run off to the dustbin in my opinion, dogs are so much more intelligent because they can see a problem and get the answer the easy way cats, however see a problem and think right, tough **** human i am a cat and i dont care what food youve bought me the bin looks so much more appetizing, clever? uh,NO!

well in some ways dogs are smarter, one look and they can get their servants..aka owners to do all kinds of things for them from feeding to getting the best seat in the house . but on the other hand they are dumb enough to sit still while the " boss" dresses them up like santa for christmas (or dyes their hair pink for the fun of it).) name one cat that has been happy to wear a costume without lots of hissing involved...) and i'd like to see a dog fall asleep while sitting on a fence post and not fall off.......

Yes, without a doubt. Cats dont roll in dirt,dont sniff other cats backsides, more independant then dogs, hence cleverer.

I've never heard of a bomb or drug sniffing cat. Do they use cats to search for lost or trapped people? No. And when a cat can catch a frisbee in his mouth, you let me know.

heck no dogs r not stupid at all ! cats aren't able to learn tricks but dogs... they can learn like 14 tricks in a life time
