I am planning to sit for a mcp exam no 290, windows 2003 server.Can some body give me information on a centre in houston, and also how much is fee there. Previously I took another MCP exam in Bangladesh, from New horizon and fee was 50$.

There are several options for Microsoft testing centers in Houston, just check the websites for Pearson Vue and Thomson Prometric, both sites have test center locators. Both sites also allow you to sign up for a web account, schedule exams (you'll see the pricing there for 70-290) and track your certification history, etc.
I checked Vue for you and got 4 in Houston.
