Deja-vu is a term used to describe the feeling that you get that makes you think that you've seen this before, heard this before or done this before. Kind of like you'be been here before in this exact situation but you can't remember when. It's kinda' creepy but cool!

It is the feeling of having had an experience before, e.g. read a book, seen a movie, visited someplace, that a) can be demonstrably proven that you haven't experienced it before and b) the experiencer is cloudy about when the previous experience occurred. There is a Star Trek - Next Generation episode called Deja Vu that illustrates this principle as well as the a currently showing movie called Deja Vu, although in each of these, they strongly imply that we are actually remembering a fragment of a previous "time loop".

deja-vu simply means that all of a sudden you get the feeling that you've been there, done that before. Like a sixth sense.

A sequence of experiencing something happening for the first time. Its like something so suddenly you realize has happened before when you know its happening for the first time.
I don't know what causes this. There should be a theory.
