Of course! Every living thing has a soul or spirit. If we didn't, this trip through this plane of existence would be rather worthless don't you think?

Before the discovery of oxygen, it was a general puzzle for everyone - how things burnt?
Since no one knew the answer, they said there's something called as Phlogiston, the burning material, which makes things burn.
Similarly, till we understand and are able to answer convincingly how living beings perform, we will continue to say there's something called as Soul which keeps living beings going.
It's just a matter of research before we will abandon this soul-theory, if it can be called so.

Yes; I do believe in souls because I did see the souls of two people this year; it was awesome.

yes.. its scary but its true.. but then its all up to an individual belief.. if one doesnt believe in something he doesnt come across it..
