Hi! Which stocks do I think pay high dividends?
Well, mostly the "Blue Chips", or bigger companies that have been around a long time, and are on the NYSE.

Some of my picks might be:

BAC - Bank of America - 4.2%
WM - Washington Mutual - 4.7%
VZ - Verizon - 4.4%
DUK - Duke Energy - 3.9%
PFE - Pfizer - 4.5%
GE - General Electric - 3.0%
CAG - ConAgra - 2.6%

This is only a small list, but in my opinion, a GOOD list! When you invest, please remember, you should invest for LONG TERM, or years, not weeks or even months.

Also, REINVEST the dividends! This helps compound the nest egg faster, and smooth the bumpy ride of the stock market in general!

The stocks I mention above would be and should be considered "income stocks", but maybe Verizon will go up a lot in the next few years, it wouldn't surprise me, with their fiber optic service going so well, so it could be considered a "growth AND income stock".
