P u s s y is both a slang word referring to the vulva and vagina, and an affectionate term for a cat. Thus it can be used as a double entendre. In a less vulgar sense, it can also be a derogatory term implying general weakness or cowardice.

Both the OED and Webster's Third International Dictionary point out similarities with the Old Norse, pūss (pocket); the Old Saxon, pūse (vulva); and the Old English, pusa (bag), etc.; the medieval French word pucelle referred to a young adolescent girl or a virgin, although this comes from a slang term for virginity puce (flea) rather than referring to cats.

Pursy (pronounced with a short u, and with the r slurred or silent) was in turn derived from an Old French word variously spelled pourcif, poulsif, poussif, meaning "to push, thrust, or heave." In this sense, it is cognate with the modern French word pousser, also meaning "to push.".

P U S S Y (applies for both small kitten and v a g i n a) is a tiny, tender and beautiful item to be handled with love and care. So according to me vagina is called p u s s y.-

If you must know, the word "p u s s y" was derived from the Old Saxon word "puse" (pronounced "pew se") which means vulva. As you know, the vulva is the external genital organs of the female. Therefore, as with most slang type words, "puse" became as it typically sounds "p u s s y."

Consider yourself educated now.
