It would depend on several factors, not the least of which would be planetary composition and mass. If a tiny, solid world like earth collided with one of the Jovian planets, such as Jupiter, Jupiter would gain about 1/3000 mass, and probably have some negligible (utterly minute) shift in orbit. Two iron planets would be quite different.
