i want to know where all polygons are used in life.

I built a number of telescopes based on various polygon's shape. My father made some octagonal and hexagonal lamps. However, that's not only a question of design. Some functionality is inside many buildings.

If you want to make anything spherical from flat sections of material, you make it up with various polygons.

Examples would be footballs (i.e. proper football - soccer) and radomes. The glass domes above the Eden Project in Cornwall will be made of loads of polygonal panels of glass.
