1. KREC Surathkal (now know as NIT Karnataka) ... it has a nice beach and temple. (20 km from Mangalore on the way to Udipi on NH17)
2. Temple in Udipi (60 km form Mangalore)
3. Drive between Mangalore and Udipi is very scenic.
4. Sure to try our sea food in Mangalore ... it is excellent.

I WOULD GO TO MG ROAD.THEN HOP THE BUS TO UDUPI AND GO ROUND THE TEMPLES THERE AND THEN GO TO MANIPAL ALL THE GOOD TIMES ARE ROUND THERE.GO TO ST MARY'S IRLAND.
