I'll send my cats your way. Faerie and Sebastian are both fat, but when it comes to mice, they move like lightning. And Sebastian will even EAT them. EWWWW!

-Maybe he's too fat to get up and chase a mouse?? In that case you may want to put him on a diet.

-It also depends on if he has always been this lazy. If not, then you may want to take him to the vet for a checkup.

LOL, punishing a pet only helps if you do it during whatever your pet is doing what you want to correct.
