Most of the time I have no problem in opening photos sent to me as emails. I just click on "view", then go through the usual steps.
But sometimes I go through this procedure, and instead of an enlarged version of the photo coming up on the screen, there is the U-lead page, with its logo, and no signs of the photo. Nothing I do gets the photo on to the page.
Can anyone tell me why this is happening?
And could they also tell me how to make another programme, such as Windows Media Player, the default for opening photos?
Thanks for reading this. Have a good Christmas!

It all depends on which program windows has assigned to open particular picture types such as .jpg .tif .gif etc.
only certain widows programs open certain picture type as default. Try this Start menu / control panel / folder options / file type tab, scroll down to the file type you have a problem with and where it says open with click change and select a program from the recommend list or browse for a different one (I use windows picture and fax viewer) and tick the box to always use this program.
Hope this helps.
