Hi there. I am a bit confused by your question, what are these things you like? Hardly anything I like doing is bad for me unless I do them too much - which is what "too much" means, I guess! This includes sex, drinking and eating (sometimes all three together if I am lucky). Can't comment on drugs, never done them.
Are you sure they are bad for you or is it just that overdosing on them is bad, because that isn't the same thing.
Cheers, Steve.

I share your question and concern. Wouldn't it be nice if everything were sugar coated in life? Wait though...resistance is the prerequisite to strength...and in nature, it seems like the strongest prevail...so it would make sense that life is NOT easy.

Go into the pain...learn to love the sensation, and stop judging it...and you will grow into a superhero, and you will be a blessing to the species!!

No not most things, maybe a few things.

No not even a few things. There is nothing that I can think of that is fun for all the proeple concerned if it is taken in moderation.

maybe it's the draw to what we know we shouldn't do/have that makes it attractive?
Advertising helps - you never see adverts with scantily clad women letting a brussel sprout melt in the mouth!
Night clubs don't have fantastic music thumping around a juice bar!
We're partly conditioned to want what we can't have, so I guess it's just an extension of that - leading us to face the idea that what we like most is either 'illegal. immoral or it makes you fat'!

That is a quaint, Victorian saying, and wrong. Substitute "fun" for "longterm-uplifting" and "Taste nice" for "seriously good", and you are moving into waters where solid enjoyment will keep you in good spirits and in good health.

Everything I like is either illegal or immoral,as said by Mae West.
