Nope. Nowhere for a goldfish to hide, and he couldn't count to 100.

Lol. I have 2 cats (well, there are more, but only two of them are official :))
But one of my previous cats (which I lost), used to play a similar game with me. I used to hide behind a shelf and then knock on it slowly and keep knocking. He would slowly come towards it and when he would reach the shelf, he would look around the corner of it and suddenly jump high in the air as if he was scared. The funny thing is that he wasn't really scared. He was pretending that he didn't know I was there and pretending that he was surprised to find me there. I know he was just pretending because every time he jumped, he ran back to the far end of the room and when I would start knocking again on the shelf, he would come just as intrigued. And we would do this for like 20 times in a row and he always seemed just as surprised. Lol. He was a great actor.

Last year I had a fox in the garden who played hide and seek with an old shoe. I would hide it and he would search it out and put it in the middle of the lawn for me to hide again. It was a great game and I was really upset one evening when he didn't turn up.
Very sad.

Yeah, my cat loves playing hide and seek... Normally when I've left a door open she sees her chance to leg it upstairs onto the beds, where she knows she's not allowed!!

i knew an old english sheep-dog, when i was a child, he was massive but soft as putty. he loved 2 play hide and seek with kids.
he would stuff his head in2 the sofa and his tail would wag 4 britain!
we daren't find him 2 soon, he would b upset.
we had 2 walk around the room calling his name and watch his tail wag even more.
time 2 look 4 us, he'd tear around sniffing and when he found us it was kisses and cuddles.
never met another dog like him, doubt there's another 1 just like that old english sheep dog.
sadly he passed away many moons ago.
i'm teaching my Staffie how 2 play and so far so good!

Often times my cat likes to play hide and seek after I step on its tail. ...but it sucks at the game as it always hides under the bed.

One of my cats will stand in one spot, in another room, and I will peek aound a corner, just long enough to catch her eye. Then we go back and forth, as I will peek, and then hide, peek, then hide... It usually takes 3-4 peeks, and eye contact for her to drop whatever she's up to, and come running to me. Such a cutie.
