A big brass bed. Or, more literally "my big brass bed." A hard line to say, let alone sing.
There is talk that it was a sexual metaphor--brass bedpost representing his erection--but in the 60's and 70's brass 4-poster beds were very popular, so I don't think it's implicit.

beautiful song. Thanks for the memory of times gone by so long ago. Life passes way too fast. I'm an old lady now, but...that sure brings back pretty memories of when I was young. Flowing long patchwork skirts, scarves used as a blouse, wrapped around my breasts, and bare feet. Long, wild hair, dancing because we just felt like it--in the streets.
