I have always seen love defined as an emotion or feeling. I believe love to be an action. We feel many things for many people and things but the way we behave the way we express those emotions and feelings is how we define love. It is confused by most by "eros" better know as lust, or by sympathy and the like but with true "love" we act differently, respond differently. So if you aren't treasuring the people you are telling "I love you", giving that "love" unconditionally perhaps you should re-examine your feelings. Whether you believe in Jesus or not the example of the ultimate "love" is expressed in His story. Even families have "falling outs" so the love of a higher power should be our example we follow. Which as I said earlier is an action not just an emotion.

In an ideal situation love is essentially acceptance. The feeling that you belong. Genuine love does not leave you. Unfortunately many people interpret love wrong. It's not something you have to fight for. People foolishly chase after the wrong people for the wrong reasons. Think about the love you share with your family or closest friends. Make that your benchmark for love.
Love is optimistic, for it is always this way.
You seek love, because it is what you need.
Love changes you in profound ways, for
Love is the truth, and the light.
Just as sun light warms your body, the true
light of love will warm your soul.

Love is away from hormonal influences and sex which tend to mislead the average human being in thinking they have discovered. Instead, love is creatively using your intelligence to better our world and future generations. Your love is, therefore, a selfless act towards the good of mankind. And when you give this type of love, you will also feel the goodness in your heart. Because this type of love gives back.

Love is an unconditional giving of affection from you to someone else. it is about total acceptance of another and trying to help that other person to become the better version of them-self.
If the other person reciprocates with the same feelings, it's a relationship.

love is an attribute of divine, which is ingrained in us like five elements. human beings being the projection/manifestation of the divine, naturally are its direct inheritors. love is our innate-nature,not something acquired from external elements. its finest by-products are, compassion, sacrifice, kindness, humility&surrundering ourselves totally to the service of God, i..e. society.these are not merely speech expression, but practical&livable fuctions of each constituent of the society. help ever hurt never--thus shall blossom the latent seed of love.love.ls.
