Despite his drug problems he always pulls it out of the bag, he put on a concert for the nurses in London and he puts his money where his mouth is when it comes to giving to charity. He rocks!

I just wish he would find the right guy and settle down to a long term relationship. He seems so unhappy.

He's also getting a bit old for all that "lurking in the bushes " stuff.

You'd be surprised how popular George Michael is in sub-saharan Africa . He's HUGE down there.

Personally I never liked his music at all. Well, you DID ask. Does he write any of that stuff himself?

Pray For Time is perhaps my favorite song by him, but Careless Whisper, Father Figure and Too Sexy are great too.

He's a talented artist who's an icon of the 80's.

Also, here in the South, you've got guts to admit liking his music. LOL

I saw his show in Dublin two weeks ago and it was a dazzling concert. A lot of people are sick of George Michael for his outspoken views and constant arrests. If you'd seen this show, it would have reminded you how good he is when he just shuts up and gets on with the music. His show was, as the Observer newspaper called it: "A masterclass in pop genius."

Personally I think he hit his peak music-wise with Outside, since then everything he's brought out has been okay but very similar sounding.

He's always been good at what he does but unfortunately I think people are starting to focus more on his personal life than his music.

I think it's nearly impossible for him to sing a song that I don't like. If you bought his "Ladies & Gentlemen: Best Of" CD, you just put both CD's in and let them play. I love George Michael. His personal life doesn't affect that great voice.

Just that he was more of a 1980s guy although some of his musics good to bop along to. And public toilets ;).

I like him.
I think he's exremely gifted as a songwriter, producer, arranger, and he's got a great voice.
Careless Whisper, Amazing, Faith, Jesus To a Child, Fastlove...all great songs.

He's allright, but I couldn't name anything he's done in the last 20 years other than drugs, and getting busted for various "incidents".
