I have very realistic dreams, always have, and kind of wonder about what you just said. Physicists do believe that this world exists, but there may be parallel worlds as well. Time is a human concept. See if you can find a book called The Holographic Paradigm, edited by Ken Wilbur. No mention of dreams, but the gist of the book is that we humans are part of a larger whole than we have any idea of. If you are correct I wonder who or what is programing the computer, LOL?

Assuming your question is genuine and you honestly believe what you just stated. If you are daydreaming and feel your going into another world than you might want to consider Astral Projection and look into different states of consciousness. I do not believe we live in a Computer Simulation World, like in the movie The Matrix. It’s not a machine that designed our existence, but one could look at life in that why as a metaphor. Science hasn’t explained yet all the possibility of the human brain and its capacities. There could be altering states of consciousness and parallel worlds in another dimension. Our concept of reality and time is not proven yet and there are many theories that can’t explain a lot of the world phenomena in this area. In my belief the physical world in which we live in is an illusion and a school for us to learn life’s lessons. Once we die we go to an afterlife which is the original state of being, our spirit selves, so to speak. There we are in our ultimate reality, but we can choose to reincarnate back on earth or to other physical planets in other solar systems. There is also other dimensions and worlds that I believe in but don’t comprehend that can be traveled to in the afterlife, I call this alter states of vibration and consciousness. In conclusion, our physical reality is not the one and only reality so if you’re experiencing something different I suggest you write down your experiences and research its possibilities.

I don't think you can get there from daydreaming, as that fits more than one scenario, one world view, but it's a genuine question that has been raised more than once, and more seriously than just by reference to "The Matrix"
Nick Bostrom (Of Oxford University's Future of Humanity institute) has an extensive website where this is proposed, and discussed, in as much detail as you could want.
And probably a bit more!

What a loaded question. Being a Sci-fi nut I loved the matrix sequence. one among my favourite factors as a Christian is in Matrix 2 whilst Neo and the Oracle are sitting on the bench. i could inspire you to play that scene back. however I heavily doubt that it replaced into intentional, what an great parable, that each and each 'application' replaced into written for a purpose, and that's whilst those 'courses' pass rogue that it motives issues all of us have been given a purpose. There are over 500 Bible verses that talk approximately purpose We each and each have a divine purpose and we've the choice to settle for it or reject it: Luke 7:29-30 reflects this properly. "each and each of the folk, even the tax creditors, whilst they heard Jesus’ words, acknowledged that God’s way replaced into acceptable, considering they have been baptized by utilising John. however the Pharisees and experts interior the regulation rejected God’s purpose for themselves, considering they had no longer been baptized by utilising John." yet do no longer take my be conscious for it, study the scriptures and watch the scene.

I would urge you to read the works of Arthur Koesler and then you will realize a lot on our perception of reallity. Heavy readings but really apocalyptic on the human nature.
On the other hand, "daydreaming" might be a symptom of illness, it would be good for you to check with a doctor just to make sure.

Let's suppose that we are in a simulation. Does that make it any less real to us? Isn't our reality determined through our senses and beliefs? So even if our senses are infact a simulation, that doesn't make them any less sensitive, any less real.

Somebody's been watching a lot of Matrix reruns...
well... sometimes life does feel as if it has been programmed..
but the real question is: can we reprogram the code?

It seems that we are but holographic expressions of Gods vision of himself. "God dwells within you as you." Nothing exists that is not God. we have unity with God in unconditional love within our hearts. As the colors of the rainbow come from sunlight, all things come from God.
