A flash drive is a handy little gadget no bigger than my thumb, which plugs into a USB port on a computer to enable you to transfer files between computers and carry them around with you, in the same way as a Floppy disk......... except FLASH DRIVES are much smaller, and can hold several hundred megabytes more computer data than a floppy.
