Yep just the same as my setup here, works fine.
Make sure they're in the same workgroup!

you do no longer choose for a floppy force... do in basic terms the wizard the comparable settings on the two computers - the main serious ingredient is that the workgroup call is the comparable, then while completed you may share a force or folder via appropriate clicking on it and selecting "sharing". The force or folder will then be seen in community Neighbourhood.

should be able to, on each computer open network connections and choose set up a home or small office network (do't bother with create a wireless network) go through each step and ensure they all use the same workgroup.
Now when you go in to My Network Places all the PCs should show up.
For each folder you want to share right click on the folder, choose properties and set up sharing.
If you have a printer connected to one of the PCs you can also set up the printer to work with all pcs

If you are using XP all you have to do is turn on sharing. Go to your control panel and then select the network connections, right click on your connection and select properties, check the box for Microsoft file and printer sharing; if its not there then select to install it. If its already turned on you should see a "shared documents" folder inside " my computer"....right click on the file/folder(s) you want to share and select the "sharing" tab. follow the prompts and away you go.

yes, no problems, but one machine must be set up as the master Internet connection and the other as slave. They will still bot connect individually but you must set it up this way to fool the software. It does not like to think that two machine both have independent access as it presents a security risk.

Yes you can, turn file/printer sharing on with both machines, and put them on the same workgroup. Then you can access the machine just by doing Start...Run... then type \\192.168.0.1 or whatever your IP address is.
