I recommend watching Criss Angel: Mindfreak on A&E on Wednesdays. Check local listings... anyway, you can go on YouTube for some cool tricks that are shown by Criss Angel.

Also, you can do the whole floating cup trick. I can't find the video now, but... what you do is get a styrofoam cup, make sure the liquid is gone, make holes in the lower back so that your thumbs can fit through. Then, you can just spread your fingers and push the cup towards the audience as if it was magically floating (when in reality, your thumbs are inside the cup, holding it).

THE AMAZING SEX DETECTOR
You need a penny, glue or tape and a string. A male friend, a female friend.
What to do: Glue the sting to the penny . So simple!! Take the male friend and dangle the penny on top of it, amazingly, it will swing back and forth, and if you do that to a female friend, it move in a circular motion! Ther's no secret, it just does that!

Put a quarter in your left pocket then go up to your victim. Show them another quarter... do a little drum roll sound, put it in your right pocket. Slap that pocket as hard as you can and pull the quarter out of your left pocket. TELEPORTATION! While they're gasping in awe, put the quarter back into your left pocket. Slap that pocket really hard and pull the quarter out of your right pocket! AMAZING!
