You won't be able to play any new games. Specially after 2004 games won't probably run. Games these days require high end specs.

You won't be able to play any new games because of your CPU, it's very weak and celeron is not very good. Try to upgrade it to Pentium 4 or Pentium D. Your Ram is also low, you should have at least 512 MB Ram. You can play games like :
Red Alert 2
The Sims 2 (maybe)
Sim City
Age Of Empires 2
CS (the old one)
and some other games that has a low graphic and details and is not so cool.

I use XP Pro and here are some of the games I play.
The Sims ( Complete Edition)
Sim City 4 Deluxe edition.
Battle Chess ( an old DOS Game)
Bejeweled
the best thing I can suggest, is to look at the system requirements before you buy a new game and see if you at least have the minimum requirements.

It also depends on the processor speed + Operating System (I've been finding out Windows XP doesn't like alot of my old favourite games), but some classics that should work:
- Sim City 2000
- Sim City 3000
- Populous: The Beginning
- S.W.A.T 3: Close Quarters Battle - Elite Edition
- Sonic 3D
- Grand Prix2
- Star Trek: Star Fleet Command III (if celeron exceeds 450-500MHz)
- THE SIMS (original version)
- Microsoft Train Simulator
- Age of Empires II
- Worms 2
- SIM Golf
- Star Trek: Bridge Commander
- Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force
- Star Trek: Armada / Armada II
- The Sims2 (if processor speed over 800MHz)
- World of Warcraft (processor speed over 800MHz)
- Half Life 1
You may wanna confirm the specs over at somewhere like Gamespot.com, as you didn't mention processor speed.

Almost none. 256mb ram is barely enough to run the smallest games. Any new game won't support it. Upgrade to at least 1GB (1000mb) DDR2-533mHz ram for good game play.

properly, I basically study the specifications on it and it says max 256, sooo, no ma'am, you won't be able to. in case you replace the mb, you are able to besides replace the puter with a reliable, used decrease priced one.. which there are various approximately. yet, in case you pass the mb path, verify the case and the potential furnish will shield it.

Not easily. U cannot play today's 3d games as it needs a lot of space.Other games can be played but if u do that, then it will lead to damage your system.
