Hell No! She is supposed to be a role model for young girls in this country and under age drinking is not only a crime but it goes against all that her crown is supposed to represent. She knew the rules going into the competition as well as the other girls and I believe that having her crown stripped away from her would be the fair and right thing to do. I don't know if she did it on purpose, but I do know that it was not responsible and she never should have put herself in that situation. Another case of "Girls Gone Bad!"

I really believe that she should lose the crown. I only feel this way because, Miss USA is suppose to be so honorable, and law abiding. Remember these are the people that claim they want "world peace."
I also think that it is a kick in the butt to Vanessa Williams. She was struggling to college, and she made a tape. They took the crown from her because she violated the rules. I do not care if the current Miss USA only got caught with the beer.
For one she is underage, and this is a legal crime, and she violated the sanction of her job.

Would you like to see a Miss USA crack addict up on that platform?? I think her tittle should have been stripped, She is suppossed to be setting an example for all young females out there, that there is some good left out in the world. This whole thing makes me believe more and more that this is nothing but a "whose butt looks cutter in a swim suit" contest.

No i dont think she should be forgiven, when she won the title she knew what type of behavior they were expecting. I think she just got drunk or high and did what most ppl do when they are drunk or high, got a little crazy. And no I def dont think she purposely had a reporter catch her red handed...why would she jeopardize her title? Prob just got busted being baaaaaaaad, really bad!!

Everyone should be forgiven. In a world where Girls Gone Wild sells millions, Brittany Spears with no underwear is news, and sex tapes make you famous who can judge her now.

I forgive her. Besides, I'd rather see a genuine drunk or crack addict up there than I would some manufactured, pre-embalmed and stage-managed phony.
Notice that she won the title because she was the "best" at being a fake. Some "role model!"

Her friends probably pressure her to do those things, so she
tried it out and got caught doing it...
No let her keep the crown, if she does it again, then she needs to give up her crown.

I think so.. But, if she was caught doing something wrong.. Then She should give her crown... Then the next one in line would get it...

i think she went a little nuts with newfound fame and fortune like many newly rich athletes do. she's just a kid- cut the girl some slack. no harm- no foul.
