I just recently started gym in fitness centre. I got program which i have to follow in order to gain what i want to achieve and i spend about an 1hr in gym but after coming home should I do some more weight because got weights at home or should let body have rest for a day.

If you have a training regime in the gym follow that. The misconception that actually the lifting of the weights is what gains muscle. That is not true. All muscle is, is scar tissue formed by the tearing of the existing muscle tissue. Rest is when this repair takes place. So the answer is no, you should not workout at home, you should rest.

Give the muscles a break and let them rest which will build size and definition. If constantly working the muscle then most of the construction workers would be so large they could not put their arms down by their sides.
Follow your trainers advice and only what your program tells you to do because it was designed for you.

Definitely you should let your body rest so the muscle can get it's correct shape. Otherwise the whole excersice won't do you good.

I think 1 hour in Gym is more than enough but you have to give yourself sometimes to see the result.
